For over a decade, Time & People has been dedicated to building powerful integrations that simplify and enhance business operations. Our journey began by focusing on critical access control integrations, linking visitor and contractor management directly with physical entry systems. This foundational step ensured a vital layer of security, controlling who could access specific areas based on their sign-in status.
As the needs of our customers evolved, so did our integration capabilities. We moved into crucial safety integrations, notably with Alcolizer breath testing units. This integration became a vital part of the sign-in process, particularly in safety-sensitive environments. If a contractor, employee, or visitor exceeded a predefined zero-tolerance alcohol limit, the system would immediately prevent their sign-in and trigger automated workflow notifications to the appropriate safety officers or managers. This proactive approach significantly enhanced workplace safety and compliance.
Following closely was our integration with KeyWatcher systems. This addressed the challenge of securely distributing keys, especially outside normal business hours when security or management personnel might not be readily available. By linking access to the key to the sign-in and compliance status, the system could automatically withhold a key if a contractor was non-compliant due to, for example, an expired induction or out-of-date company insurance. This ensured that access to sensitive areas or equipment was strictly controlled and tied to current compliance.
Over the last four years, we have made significant efforts to streamline the often complex process of collecting data from contractors and suppliers. We introduced dedicated contractor onboarding and Supplier Pre-Qualification modules. These tools are designed to make it easier for our customers to gather all the necessary information upfront. For suppliers, this includes crucial details required for their inclusion and approval in internal systems, such as insurance certificates, licenses, and even injury rates. For contractors, we focus on collecting contact details, verifying licenses, and crucially, triggering necessary online inductions as soon as they are onboarded, ensuring they are site-ready before they even arrive. This focus on digitizing and centralizing data collection has drastically reduced administrative burden and improved data accuracy.
Taking the next step in connected safety and compliance, Time & People is currently working with multiple customers to integrate with major supplier management platforms like Avetta. This integration brings external supplier compliance data, including their approval status, often indicated by a traffic light system (green, amber, red, and grey), directly into platforms like MRIOnLocation. This provides our customers with a centralized, real-time view of supplier compliance, further enhancing decision-making and risk management.
