COVID Workplace attendance register with future employee workplace scheduling

COVID workplace attendance registers with future employee workplace scheduling.

Under current public health advice, from 6-8-20, all Victorian workplaces are required to establish and maintain a register of every person who attends the workplace for a period of more than 15 minutes. This includes all workers (including sub-contractors) and any customers, clients, or visitors permitted in the workplace (including workplace inspectors).

If an employee or visitor tests positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), a current and accurate workplace attendance register will allow the employer to immediately identify anyone who has been in close contact with that person within the prior 48 hours.

If you already have a system in place to capture this information, it is not necessary to use this template. This template can be adapted or used by workplaces that do not already record the attendance of employees and visitors to the workplace.

You can set up a manual data collection system or you can set up an automated electronic solution that includes whos is Scheduled into the office next 30 days to assist with office/building capacity when you return. As I write the Government website has crashed with companies downloading the workplace attendance register.

Going electronic will give you much better data, secure data, reportable data.

Forward Schedule people into your building for capacity visibility.

You can schedule people into your people while setting caps on the number of people each day, you can even break the day down into morning and afternoon or as deep as hourly if needed.  Schedule visitors, employees, and contractors into the future to help manage the building capacity.

  • Visitors, contractors, and employees can pre-register and nominate the time and day they will be onsite
  • You can add a link to booking form on your website/intranet for visitors, contractors, and employees.
  • Give graphical visibility to people booking in so they can see the busy periods.

Book in a 5-minute call to discuss how this can be set up for your business

Customers have been asking for some time to be able to report in a better way on the data collected from Visitor Management Systems. Monitoring the number of people, especially employees entering the building is of great concern at the moment as Managers are finding they are unsure on any given day which employees are either working remotely from home or coming into the office. Some recent questions we have received include; “Can I see a live report now with data so I do not have to run a report […]

So it seems like we wont be stepping of the roller coaster ride that was 2020 quite as yet in 2021! State by state the Governing bodies are now implementing compulsory regulation to use an automated QR Code sign in at most venues and businesses to collect information such as first and last names, mobile phone number and sign in time. Apps like the NSW Service Covid Safe Check-in are free and can perform the simple requirements but what if you need more compliance at your workplace? Sign in and […]

Scheduling people into your building to assist with building capacity is an important part of visitor management. Giving people the visibility to see how many people are already registered to come into the building next Thursday is gold. Aged Care Schedule family members visiting residents as soon as COVID is under control. Place dashboards on website or send a link to family members. Office locations Schedule employees, contractors into spaces in the building while easily managing visibility over the next 30 days. Place dashboards on the company intranet Why would […]

We are surrounded by touchless technology. It is around us every day. We may not even be aware of it a conscious level. It’s just there. Touchless water faucets and touchless hand dryers in public toilets, touchless car washing, and touchless payments at the local store are obvious examples. More recently gesturing control technology is driving touchless user interfaces for volume control, lights, and many other Internet of Things (IoT) enabled devices. But what about touchless visitor sign-in, touchless contractor sign-in, and touchless employee attendance? Using an electronic Visitor Management […]
