Touchless Sign in process for Aged Care facilities

As we all prepare to go back to the office albeit in a very different format than the format we had in January this year, limited numbers of people in each office, a limited number of total people in your building, and nobody wants to touch anything. I have noticed when Covid-19 first started supermarkets were cleaning touchscreens after every customer completed their purchase, now the screens are being cleaned less frequently, the customer now must also play a part washing their own hands after using touch screens at checkout.

Touchless Visitor, Contractor, and employee presence on site are already available in your visitor management system.

It is not like touchless is new, hand dryers in public bathrooms went touchless many years ago, you can now wash your hands in a bathroom by waving your hand near the tap to start the tap running, these are truly touchless experiences. I remember almost 10 years ago seeing a door that a person walked through in an office where a sensor above the door picked up the employee’s access control card and automatically opened the glass doors for the employee to walk through. I expect a lot more of these systems to be implemented in buildings over the coming years.

Touchless visitor contractor and employee presence and compliance management mean people will sign in with their mobile phone, not a touchless experience as the person is using their own mobile phone to sign in, answer questions etc. It does mean the experience is touchless from the usual visitor kiosk that is installed allowing people to sign in and out by touching the visitor kiosk.
