Ram originally made contact through a post on a geek website in 2013 where I answered the question for a person looking for a visitor management solution. After reading the comments Ram made contact to discuss his requirements and we completed a 15 minute visual demonstration of the software. Ram was convinced that he had seen the best product after looking at several solutions.
One month after going live we asked Ram to answer a few questions to understand how the software was satisfying the needs of Mazda New Zealand……
My first question to Ram was how has Whosonlocation assisted you in your business?
We used to maintain a Visitor’s book which was hard to keep track of who is visiting us and also expensive to replace with a new one. After implementing WOL it has become very easy to run a report on who has visited us in a particular period of time. Also it enhances our brand’s image when we follow a proper process for the visitor management. Another very good feature that fits well with our business is WolEvac.
After the amendment of NZ Health & Safety law recently it has put onus on the businesses with respect to Workplace safety. With WOL we can customise the welcome screen with H&S related information and slides before they accept and acknowledge our policy. The Visitor’s badge gives our staffs the information on whom the visitor is here to visit. As mentioned previously, running reports is a very good functionality to have.
My next question was to ask Ram what he liked about Whosonlocation Visitor Management software….
a. Ability to print a visitor badge with Mazda logo on.
b. Signing out using a barcode scanner makes the process so simple
c. WolEvac is a very good tool to use during building evacuation. This tool is similar to one that Facebook uses during the event of natural disaster where someone can tell that Mr.A is safe.
d. Reporting tool
e. Ability to sign in beforehand and getting the badges ready
f. Support team is very good/quick in troubleshooting issues
I finished by asking Ram what is a feature that he would like to see in the software in the future.….
One feature that I would like to see in WOL in future is Virtual receptionist: Automatically greeting the visitors and initiating the sign in process for them
Ram went on to mention that the feedback from staff members has been positive and he would soon be implementing into another location.
