3M Australia required a visitor management solution to cover all locations across Australia and New Zealand. Initially looking for a Visitor Management solution to replace the manual sign in process it was soon discovered that there would be a lot of benefit in having contractors also sign in with the visitor management software. Included in the WhosOnLocation software set is Induction Management which quickly became another module 3M could see huge benefit deploying.
After looking at several solutions the all round ability of WhosOnLocation Visitor Management system including contractor management and induction management won over the staff of 3M.
The management of contractor/supplier public liability and workers compensation was all done manually, moving this process to an electronic process would save significant time and effort in future years.
Setting up visitor kiosks at each location took pressure off reception staff during busy periods. Now with centralised information after all location went live in August 2014 3M have the ability to draw reports across the business on visitor activities which includes vendor visits.
