What if Visitors Are Injured While At Your Location

If you have a visitor injured at your job site or place of business, there are a number of steps you should take immediately:

  • File an accident report – if an accident has occurred on location at a job site, a formal report should be filed. Document all details of how the accident occurred. Also provide details on the injuries sustained by the visitor. If they are able to do so, they should also document the experience on the report to ensure that you have all sides of the story.
  • Suggest medical treatment – ensure that the visitor receives necessary medical treatment and request a copy o the medical report if injuries are more severe so that records from a medical doctor are also available.
  • Contact insurance – if the situation is severe enough ensure that you contact your insurance company with the details sooner rather than later and they can provide the appropriate advice.

This was not only taking time away from the person collating this list […]

Contractor sign in and sign out to check invoices
02nd Sep, 2019

One of the most common requirements for customers today managing contractors before any compliance comes into play like inductions, insurances, licenses and more is the simple sign in and sign out process. I have been involved in Time & Attendance for more than 20 years and know wherever there is a manual timesheet system contractors generally are the winners at the end of the day. Some common examples include… Contractor turns up at 7:05 but writes 7:00 – multiply this by thousands of contractors and it all adds up. 2000 […]

Visitor Management meets Webhooks
12th Jun, 2019
Natalie Fort

Webhooks while easy to set up still need some understanding especially if you are a newbie and have never set up a webhook before. Webhooks allow you to pull data out of the visitor management system as it happens, an API, for example, needs instructions on how to collect and how frequently to collect data and is always coded. Webhooks allow you to push data live as it happens from the visitor management software into other systems without code. I can confirm I am a newbie to Webhooks however I have […]
