Tracking employee presence with Visitor Management

Almost every Visitor Management customer asks about employees, how can we track employees? should we include employees in our visitor management software?

We believe when setting up your visitor management system to assist you in the event of an emergency knowing who is in your building or buildings that it is very important to also track employees in the visitor management system. Many companies just track visitors however should anything ever happen in the event of an emergency you will not know which employees are on site or off site if we have not captured their presence.

Visitor Management can assist you with visitors into the building and you can also easily set up for employees to check in and check out for presence, this is not for time and attendance but we do have a report that can be exported that includes the check in and check out time of employees with the total number of hours between the check in and the check out.

As Visitor Management is designed to assist you in the event of an emergency in your building or buildings it is equally important to know which employees are currently on location and which employees are currently off location.

We also have included in the product a small web app that will work on any smart phone that allows employees to check in and out for the day through the phone, some customers also only use the check in feature as they are only concerned about presence and not WhosOnLocation.
