Time & People came about in 2010 when a Time & Attendance customer asked Peter Morrissey if he could assist them with a sign in system for visitors and contractors. It was early days for cloud based commercial software solutions but for those in the know cloud was coming like a freight train.
Peter decided that providing customers with visitor and contractor management software was something that could grow over the next 20 years and decided to start providing a solution to customers. Our second customer was an ice-cream plant in Bramalea Canada for the global corporation Unilever. Who would have thought you could sell a software solution while sitting at your desk in Sydney to an ice cream plant in Canada. All of this out of a bedroom and then bedrooms in the house over a number of those early years.
Very quickly Peter realised talking to customers that adding services to implement and train customers on the software solution was a better way of providing a solution when compared to a 30 day trial product that most companies at the time offered with little or no assistance with implementation and training.
Kathy Cepar joined the team in 2012 heading up the implementation team creating an implementation and training experience that companies just seemed to love. The implementation team was born, every customer got a level of service not being offered in the industry, globally customers started to pick up the software and the services of Time & People.
We then had a crack at our first tender in 2014 where Queensland Stadiums needed a solution for all the stadiums in QLD they managed. The solution was to help Queensland Stadiums move away from a paper based solution. 8 weeks later it was announced Time & People had been the successful tenderer, Peter took the call at the 2014 staff xmas party, what a great way to start 2015.
It was time to get an office, there were no more bedrooms to use! The office was born.
We had to grow, along came Natalie Fort in 2016 to head up the Sales and Marketing department bringing 20 years of experience into the business. Today Natalie has been instrumental bringing our new website together along with our brand new branding for 2022
By this time Time & People has customers in many countries including Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK, Dominican Republic, Asia Pacific and more.
Next stop, administration which needed more support for Kim Cantrell and the team. Melanie Cooper joined the team bringing a life-time of experience into administration lifting the support to customers while building out systems in preparation for automation.
Moving forward to 2022 as we all just start to come out of covid and Time & People were announced as the company to provide Goodstart Early Learning with a solution to assist manage visitors and contractors over 660 child care locations nationally.
We had been supplying many types of hardware to customers as the customer base grew. In 2022 this culminated in Time & People taking over the Australiasian distribution of Armodilo Kiosks.
Today Time & People are proud to have customers like Virgin Australia, Luna Park, Johnson & Johnson, Western Plains Zoo, BOC, TOLL, ABC, AES Global and many many more amazing customers.
